PUPPY PURCHASE AGREEMENT

The parties hereto agree as follows:
1. INWOOD PINES, LLC agrees to transfer OWNERSHIP in one female / male German Longhaired Pointer named _______________________, color/markings: ______________________from the ____ litter (herein after “PUPPY”) sired by ___________________whelped on __________ by dam ___________________ in exchange for the payment by OWNER of an original purchase price of $__________ including the deposit of $__________ and the adherence by OWNER to the terms of this Agreement.  OWNER is responsible for payment of fees associated with airfare expenses (airefare,crate,etc).
2. INWOOD PINES, LLC REPRESENTS AND WARRANTS TO OWNER:
A) Puppy was whelped on: _______________
B) Puppy was health checked on _____________by a licensed Veterinarian at Goodison Veterinary Center, P.C., 4379 Orion Rd., Rochester, MI 48306 and found to be in good health.
C) Puppy has been vaccinated at ______weeks of age for DHPP ,at_______weeks of age for DHPP
(DHPP = Distemper-hepatitis, Parainfluenza, Parvovirus)
D) Puppy has been wormed for Roundworms and Hookworms on ______________.
E) Puppy has been DNA profiled. (DNA#:____________________)
F) Puppy has been microchipped. (microchip#: ____________________)
G) Puppy has been registered with GLPCNA #: ______________________ and limited registration NAVHDA #: ___________________
3. OWNER REPRESENTS AND WARRANTS TO INWOOD PINES, LLC:
A) If OWNER wishes to reserve the right to rescind the agreement for the reason of improper health, OWNER shall have puppy examined by a licensed veterinarian within (5) five working days of receiving puppy. If OWNER fails to notify INWOOD PINES, LLC of any problems before the (5) five day period, the OWNER will deem to OWNER’s satisfaction that puppy is in good health.
B) A good home, as defined herein, one with warm and dry bedding, protection from weather and elements, affection, regular exercise, proper nutrition and medical/health care will be provided for the entire time PUPPY remains under the control of OWNER.
C) OWNER is not to transfer custody of PUPPY to any third person, animal shelter, puppy mill or laboratory except as allowed herein in section 3E.
D) OWNER shall provide INWOOD PINES, LLC with any address changes.
E) If at anytime OWNER is unable to provide PUPPY with a good home, as defined above, or chooses not to keep PUPPY for any other reason than a severe hereditary defect (as defined herein Guarantee), OWNER agrees to immediately notify INWOOD PINES, LLC; whereupon, INWOOD PINES, LLC may at INWOOD PINES, LLC’s sole discrection, assist OWNER with finding a new approved owner for PUPPY. If OWNER and INWOOD PINES, LLC cannot find a home for PUPPY within 30 days, the OWNER shall return PUPPY at OWNERS expense to INWOOD PINES, LLC, unless INWOOD PINES,LLC consents otherwise in writing.  INWOOD PINES, LLC may at INWOOD PINES, LLC’s sole discretion, take possesion of the PUPPY, provided PUPPY is in good health/condition and OWNER has maintained ownership and OWNER has adhered to the guidelines of this agreement, return a portion up to the original purchase price as follows: Up to (4) four months of age:100%,(4)four to (12)twelve months of age:50%,(12) twelve months of age and older:10%
F) PUPPY will not be bred until it has passed all required German Longhair Pointer Club of North America (GLPCNA) guidelines for breed certification.  INWOOD PINES, LLC shall change PUPPY's NAVHDA limited registration to full registration upon proof of GLPCNA breed certification.

GUARANTEE
PUPPY is guaranteed up to 12 (twelve) months of its life to be free from severe hereditary defects, with "severe" being defined as substantially impacting the life of the PUPPY.  In the event PUPPY develops a condition, where quality of life will be impacted, OWNER must notify INWOOD PINES, LLC within 48 hours of diagnosis and provide medical records proving as such. INWOOD PINES, LLC may at INWOOD PINES, LLC’s sole discretion obtain a second opinion at INWOOD PINES, LLC'S expense to verify the severity of the condition.  In the event of a verifiable hereditary condition, INWOOD PINES, LLC, does hereby GUARANTEE to replace PUPPY when one becomes available unless INWOOD PINES, LLC consents otherwise in writing, provided OWNER has maintained ownership of PUPPY and adhered to the guidelines of this agreement.  (OWNER is responsible for all airfare/transportation expenses of replacement puppy.)
INWOOD PINES, LLC IS HEREBY RELEASED from and all further liability to OWNER with regard to PUPPY and it is hereby understood that no other conditions, guarantees or obligations concerning PUPPY shall every apply between the parties hereto. It is also understood and agreed that from the date of this agreement OWNER accepts all liability for the actions of PUPPY and holds INWOOD PINES, LLC harmless with regard to any and all third parties. Any modifications or amendments to agreement must be done in writing and witnessed hereof by both signing parties.
